£156.00 Including Vat £130.00 Without Vat

12v Single Speed with self park (this version can be upgraded to a 2 speed unit at a later date).

Description

  1. Do you run a 6 volt wiper motor? Are they silly fast?

Do you run a 12 volt armeture inside a 6 volt unit? (New armeture inside a worn out motor)

Is it a noisy experience?

Do the blades self park or is it a timing thing you have going on?

I expect you have answered YES to most of these questions above.

This is a 12 Volt Wiper Motor.

It also has a self park function wired into the supplied loom, so push the button on your switch in and the blades will return to there parked position.

This unit fits in exactly the same place as the original unit, new mounting screws are supplied, also the wiring exactly the same as your original, the main power/feed wire is the same colour as the original, this also comes with an inline fuse for added protection.

The only thing that has come to light is the new motor is roughly 20mm bigger than the original, so if you have a stereo hanging out the dash, space maybe an issue, so please check that area if interested in one of these and you run or want to run a stereo of some kind.

TIPS FOR FITTING

  • Remove ashtray , helps getting to the mounting bolts , allows you to see more as its all hidden .
  • When deciding which place you want the blades to park . If you drive a LEFT HAND drive vehicle then originally the drivers blade will stop / park near the centre (Split section ) So you will need to mount the Driver (Part that bolts onto flats on the shaft) The driver rod should be towards the left of the bus , this meandering blade is fully extended to the left so pushes blade to the centre .
  • For RIGHT HAND Drive it is the opposite , you still have the driver on the left side but rotate the driver 180 Degrees , this will make the right blade stop near the centre .
  • Fit the driver on before fitting into the bus , also connect the wiring plug onto motor .
  • Screw the left mounting bolt part way in so you can slot the left hand side of the mount into place , as it is hard to get the bolt started when offering the motor up . Then fit the right bolt and tighten both up .
  • Fit spindles
  • Snap left hand rod onto spindle , then fit the right hand rod .

Wiring numbers are on the wiring bag supplied . Numbers relate to numbers on original and reproduction switches .
